Christine Lauridsen Sand, a Des Moines, Iowa, corporate executive, guides the Lauridsen Group (LGI) as CEO. As CEO, Christine Lauridsen Sand collaborates regularly with all CEOs of the companies owned by LGI. She reports to the LGI Advisory Board and family ownership group and leads strategic decision-making, human resources, and science-driven analysis and product development.
Ms. Sand contributes to her local community and is now an Honorary Director at Des Moines Performing Arts after ten years of board service including serving as Chair during two crucial pandemic years. Christine is proud of the work of Des Moines Performing Arts which combines compelling performances with educational and cultural programming geared toward students of all ages.
In addition, Ms. Sand supports her husband, Rob, in his extensive public service endeavors, establishing a permanent endowment supporting the United Way of Central Iowa. As Des Moines Airport Authority Board Vice Chair, she is also overseeing the development and construction of a new airport terminal.
